Tukad Bangkung Bridge

The Tukad Bangkung Plaga Bridge, located in Plaga Village, Petang District, Badung Regency, is considered to be Southeast Asia’s highest bridge. The bridge’s highest pillar is 71.14 meters tall, while the foundation pillars are 41 meters underground. This bridge measures 360 meters in length and 9.6 meters in width. The bridge’s construction began in 2001. Then, on April 28, 2007, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono inaugurated its use. At this height, the bridge that connects the two hills is truly beautiful. This bridge connects the towns of Badung, Buleleng, and Bangli. The Tukad Bangkung Bridge is 6 kilometers shorter than the former bridge.
